The restaurant bar has a wide assortment of drinks to pair with your meal. For our filet mignon, you might try a cabernet sauvignon, a firm red wine with black fruit, oak, and herbs. Typically, the rule is a white wine is good for seafood and chicken and a red wine is good for red meat.
You can also pair with some of our fabulous dessert items. For our delicious turtle cheesecake, you might want to try a zinfandel, a muscat, or a riesling wine. A dessert muscat might also work with our tiramisu dessert. You should generally try to choose a dessert wine that is sweeter than your dessert. Although Merlot typically goes with more hearty meat dishes, it would also probably work well with the sweet and bitter coffee of tiramisu. Our staff is very informative when asked for recommendations on pairings of our cocktails, microbrews & wines, so please don’t hesitate to utilize them as a resource.
